Stan's Message - 4th Qtr 2008
This is a very special time in the life of our church. God has provided a new Worship Center that will seat 500 plus people. It is a beautiful facility that we will use to glorify the Lord each Sunday and on special occasions. I want to invite you to join us for the Dedication Service on October 12, 2008 at 10:45 AM. It will be a celebration worship service featuring our worship team and choir, as well as a special message for the dedication of the building. It would be a great blessing to have you and your families join us for this great celebration. We hope to fill the building with people and with praises for our Lord Jesus.
I believe this event signals a new day at NHBC. Now, we have room for a much larger church family. That is the purpose behind the building. It is not for comfort. It is to expand our family by seeing people come to know Jesus as Lord and having people join us in our mission to reach out to our community for Christ. I pray that you will join us in this vision of fulfilling the Great Commission. Our community needs the hope that comes from knowing Jesus in a personal way.
Also, we are working hard to fulfill the need for quality relationships. Our Connection Groups for all ages meet at 9:30 AM each Sunday morning, and we are beginning home Connection Groups at various times during the week. It is so important for us to connect with each other and to show the love of Christ for everyone. That is our goal. We have a loving church, but we want to grow in that love to involve people of all backgrounds and ethnic groups. I believe you will find the folks at NHBC to be very caring and warm. It is a great place to form those close friendships we all need.
Please, make it a point to come on October 12 at 10:45 AM and bring your family and friends for an exciting time as we dedicate our new building to the Lord.
